Foster

Fostering is an essential part of our program. Without foster we wouldn't be able to help dogs! The benefits of fostering cannot be measured. You will be preparing the dog to move onto it's furever home. Some dogs come a bit shy, confused and sad from their previous living arrangements and your love can totally change them.  Thanks for considering opening your home to a dog in need. Please fill out our foster APPLICATION HERE.

Dogs Currently Looking for A Foster Home

Volunteer

We are a 100% volunteer run organization. Fostering is always a big need, but there are many ways to volunteer and help us! We are always looking for help with all aspects of the rescue. Every part of the rescue helps a dog get closer to finding their forever home. If interested in volunteering with us please fill out and APPLICATION HERE!

fundraising This would include things like helping to plan events, obtain donations when needed and assist in carrying out plans. We also need help staffing events when they happen.

adoption This could include checking applications, calling references, connect foster parent with applicant and possibly coordinating meet & greets.

Foster Coordinator This could include administrative work such as: checking applications for fosters, finding the right dog for them and working with foster parents to make sure the dogs needs are being met.

social media and Photography Helping out with social media will include making fliers/ graphics for posting, updating and posting on Facebook and Instagram, updating Petfinder. We are also always looking for photographers to update our dogs pictures to help feature them for adoption.

Walking Dogs Occasionally we get dogs returned or things happen where their foster family is no longer able to continue fostering sometimes resulting them to be placed in boarding. When this happens it is helpful to have dog walkers whom will get the pup out for a bit to burn off some energy or get some cuddles.

Home Visits We require all of our dogs to have a home visit before getting adopted or moved into a foster home. This is usually a quick visit to see the living arrangements. We have a small "checklist" to complete. We are always looking to expand our volunteers for this area in order to have the opportunity to place more dogs.
